Elias Audy, the owner of Cypress Automart, was the first recipient of an annual Elias F. Audy Civic Award given by the Brookline Police Mutual Aid Association, for promoting civic unity and encouraging efforts in addressing neighborhood issues. This is an annual Award given to an outstanding community member.
Elias has also received
• "Citizen Award" from the Kids Clothes Club (KCC) for whom he provides permanent housing for the storage of their inventory of new coats. In 2006 KCC gave out more than 6000 new coats to children in need in the Greater Boston area and abroad. Elias currently serves on its board.
• "Earth Day Award" from both the Brookline Chamber of Commerce and Town of Brookline.
• "Best Business Practice" by the Brookline Chamber of Commerce.
• Presented with "Friend of Education Award" by the Brookline Educators Association BEA in the year 2000.
• "1996 Businessman of the Year Award" by the Brookline Chamber of Commerce.
• Recognized by Mobil Oil Corporation with its highest SCHROEDER Award.
Elias is a very active Rotarian and served as the president of the Brookline Rotary Club 1999-2000.
- Chairman of the Board of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce from 2003-2005, after serving as its President for 2 years.
- Co-Chair of the advisory board of the Single Family Parent Outreach.
- Board of Directors of the Brookline Music School.
- Member of the board of the Overseers of the Brookline Foundation.
- Member of the Commercial Area Committee for the Town of Brookline.
Elias currently owns and operates 2 Mobil stations, AAA Approved repair shop and a used car dealerships, CYPRESS AUTOMART, in Brookline, MA. Besides his busy schedule, he likes to spend his time sharing and caring for p
